Introduction

The story of Levendula Porta

Levendula Porta is established by Eníd and Tibor Keszthelyi which is a small size family farm with animals, lavender plantation, homemade products, and also offering interesting programs. We both have agricultural backgrounds and also educated in related fields. We planted the first French lavender heads in 2011. From the flowers we made lavender syrup, lavender jelly and other unique products. We took our products in decorated (by Eníd Szávay) bottles to the nearest local market in Káptalantóti called Liliomkert. The lavender syrup become a popular and wanted product, it has earned the National Park's trade mark. We increased our plantation to over two thousand heads to meet demands.

Products can not only be purchased at our home, but also some buffets and resellers showed interest in. A couple of milking cows graze around the Porta, we sell row milk, and processed milk products too. Our guests on request are served with dishes made from our products, and can have a rest in a shade of a tree.
